In PA you can't run them constantly or I wouldve. But I did finish the switch box today.

It's also time to put these back on too. Finally have a new one to replace my broken wheel.

Brandon, did yours come with those extendable mirror? My XLT didn't, it has power mirrors. I'd like some of those extendable mirrors for towing my camper instead of what I have now. Anyone know if they are easy to retrofit??

I bought them on amazon or ebay. After market. Bolt right on. Plug n play. They are a little salty. I paid like 240.

They are made by trail ridge. I have every option my factory mirrors had. Turn signal heated puddle light. Ones with out those options are a little cheaper.

I mounted some switches in the same location. Ended up keeping the "secret door" function of the original ashtray and fitted the switches with a 3 switch plate that sits nicely inside the holder with the ashtray removed.

You've got an extra goodie in there so probably wouldn't have fit unless you went with smaller switches. Looks great! Good job!

That came out really nice Vancouver bob!!!! Mine didnt come with the ashtray... just the lighter plug. Now that it's in I want to take it back out and make it so the switches point more In an upward direction like yours do.

Thanks!

I'm trying to picture what yours was like with just the lighter plug. Did you have the access door that opened up?

No, no access door. I'll take a picture of the piece here shortly. It was just a flat piece of plastic with a outlet coming out in an upward angle.
