PS - Beautiful White Expedition - Expeditionandy. I have the same white with the gold panels below. I love the white on these trucks.
Thanks! I have really come to like it. I am a nut about having my truck clean so I am always taking it to the car wash to get dirt off. We have a car wash company that gives you unlimited washes if you pay monthly, so I go through at least once or twice a week. :)

I changed out my puddle lights and plate lights to LED as well as my brake turn signal rear lights as well. Very happy with them. Also changed out my headlight assemblies on my 03 Expedition. I have attached a photo of the front.

I feel like with the projector Style backup bulbs you would get more coverage because not only do you have the projector but you also have LEDs around the circumference of the bulb. The bulbs around the circumference with Luminate into the reflector like the factory bulbs did what the projector would also get you some distance behind you

3rd gen? Yeah

Just will need a plastic trim prybar to safely open up the interior lights.

And a push fastener puller and a replacement pair of fasteners for the rear license plate

PS there is NO need to yank out any modules from the car, I just had a spare overhead thingie laying around in the garage after an interior swap and used it to demonstrate. Normally just pop off the plastic button/lens thing and swap it right on the ceiling

There is a little tab on the right hand side of the bulb holder, you push it to the left and use a nylon pry bar to wiggle it out.

Be careful because the tabs get brittle and can break easily. Both of the tabs on my 17 broke the first time that I took them off and they were brand new. If you look at the right side you can see the notch in the face where the tab goes.

Thanks all..... got mine related on the license plate..... so.. my next and final question (let's be honest there will be others) is does the 3rd Gen lights (tsil, back up, side marker) if replaced with l.e.d.s require canbus bulbs...if I am even saying that right...

Suoerbrightled.Com has both but wasn't sure if it needs those types...

What I found out is, you only need resistors for the front turn signals, you can replace the rear turn signals without getting the hyper flash. You can have the dealer turn off the bulb out hyper flash warning feature and then you don't need to worry about canbus LEDs. I am not sure if the Canbus LEDs have the resistors built in, but if they do then you should be able to use them and not worry about it. But I'd ask that question before I buy them.

Not sure which push fastener it was, just that it had the little popup thingie in the middle...I got a kit for Fords on Amazon, also had the pull tool, and I used it for a few other things as well already:

Cargo area ones worked, don't remember why I ordered the 5pack though -- think I mistakenly THOUGHT it would also work for something else:

Also a 15-17 thing, earlier 3rd gen gers hyper flash from rear turn signals
