Hey guys just wondering if anyone could pass along some information about their experience with their leveling kit.
If anyone has any do's and don't's I should look out for like tire size compatibility, installations techniques, anything really.
This is the first kit I will ever be installing personally and I am in the dark a little bit as to what to expect from the kit.
For information I purchased 3.5" front and a 2.5" rear sets of spacers from eBay and I believe they say they'll only fit 34.5" tires but I plan on 35" with, possibly, a small amount of trimming with my Dremel.
Thanks to anyone who chimes in.
Looking for anyone that has installed a 3/2 kit or has any experience with leveling kits.
I am also not exactly sure when I get the level on my truck because I am back in school and don't have money for new tires at the moment but sooner than later!

I did mine a couple weeks ago using the same kit. The installation is straight forward. I had trouble with loosening the sway bar from the lower control arm so I just loosened the actual mount and everything went smooth from there. Make sure you get it aligned asap. I drove for a couple weeks without the alignment done and it ride like crap and started to wear my tires out quick.

NICE! do you have some kind of ID number for the spacers you got on eBay? I'm a huge eBayer so if you can send me the link or the part number please!!!!

^^^What Tallsville said^^^

I've got 151k on my 05 and I don't know if they are the og struts or not but they're garbage so I'm just doing it all at the same time along with a few other things. As long as it's apart I might as well get as much done as I can.

Yeah that's very true... As far as I know the precious owner has the struts replaced at 150k so that leaves only 19k on them at the moment so I'll be alright hopefully lol

Does anyone that has done this know if the front and rear strut mounting bolt pattern is the same? Want to do this same lift to my 06 Limited and now, the rear is $460.05 as compared to $44 for the front. Want to go 3.5"/2.5" not, 3/2. What the hell is the difference? the rear is just an inch less steel.

You can find the 3.5/2.5 kit on eBay for around $100 both front and rear

Six months ago it was. Not anymore. Please post a link if you have one. The rear of the 3.5/2.5 that guys on here have used is now $460.05. Front 3.5 is $44.00. makes no sense.

Going to be installing the level in a couple months along with 35" Toyos... had another question before I went for it though, I believe my truck has 3.73 gears and was wondering if there will be a lot of stress on the tranny-driveline if I don't go for a higher gear ratio? Primarily I do not go off-roading too much unless its the occasional trip through the woods in the mud but I just don't want to beat up anything if I could avoid it with a simple regear. Also along with my tires I will be getting a Hypertech programmer and I was wondering if that will help in any way by reducing strain on the trans/driveline and if it will make the truck a little less sluggish once the bigger tires go on. Thanks for all the help guys!
