Lightning motor swap

Has anyone done or have any information about 351 lightning motor swap? Will it bolt up to the stock tranny? Any mods to the motor mounts. Any help that would get me pointed in the right direction would be great

Contact one of the Ford Racing dealers from the SVT site. here's the address....http://www.performanceparts.ford.com Call a local dealer who would have the conversion parts if any...Believe me when I say you will have to replace the computer processors, and add a few other sensors to the new package. Vacuum sensors etc: I think The 03 SVT Lightning uses the 400R trans..not sure though. I believe all the new modulars use the same block layout. again not sure . Hope this helps.

Exped svt motor swap

Apparently Ford is listening A neighbor of mine who Works @ Mi Truck said that Ford had 5 such expeds built on the line for a prototype 2004 Harley Davidson Edition code named (Thunder II) Harley turned down the proposed vehicle as not fitting with the image they were seeking in the alliance. A Ford Exec as he recalls Jim Padilla VP North American Operations noticed how the hourly, and salaried employees responded, and stated that the vehicle will be built reguardless as a 3rd Qtr 2004, or @ the latest 2005. This will origionally be offered as a 2wd, w/a 4x4 to follow.....3 valve 5.4L Supercharged SVT motor as in the Lightning. further he stated that the Motors, and trans were pre assembled, and dropped in. bolt for bolt match.... Take it for what its worth...I'm sure engineers groomed it first. although these were just trucks going down the line all Black Expeds. Neither he nor I know....
