It's power steering or transmission fluid ( same stuff....). Have you laid under there with a flashlight and looked ?
The 2015 Expedition has an electronic power steering system.
That’s coolant. Check the turbo supply and return lines. Just had mine replaced. Could be the water pump also.Pinkish red watered liquid from underneath engine area. No smell. Anyone know what it might be?
trans fluid is not wateryI associate that color with transmission fluid.
There is no power steering fluid in 2015+ expeditions. It is EPASOk, I'm sure there's some electric magic in it, but Ford service manual specs Mercon LV for the 2015 Expedition power steering system, same as the tranny.

+1. Just had mine replaced at 81k along with driver side turbo coolant lines leaking like a sieveCheck your water pump (some only leak when the engine is running) - look for leakage or weep signs under the pump with the engine off.
Mine failed at 75,*** miles.
Yeah Prestone 50/50 pre diluted. Make sure it’s same color. I always used the one for GM vehicles as they don’t have ford specific. Or you can try to find motorcraft orange. Did you see the post I tagged you in of the water pump and turbo coolant lines leaking? I included pics in that postOP here. Noticed today there was no coolant in the recovery tank. called Ford but of course they have to call me back. Anyone know what type of coolant I should put in the recovery?

He should only switch to yellow if he had his system flushed. Just had this done after my water pump was found to be leakingThe original should have been Orange, which Ford no longer makes. The replacement is Motorcraft Yellow (not to be confused with Gold). Buy the concentrate, some distilled water and mix it yourself if cost is a concern. Most dealers in this area charge twice as much for a gallon of premix vs concentrate, which means you're paying 4x as much for the coolant. You can also use the Prestone orange mentioned above.

Not what I was told by two service managers and a ford technician 5 days ago. But you do what you wantYellow is the official replacement for Orange and can be mixed with Orange as per Ford.
