Yes Bob....have used that before...

Andy, try using the "zoom out" command a couple of time prior to entering the weather map....maybe that will give you better results. Mine are usually TOO LARGE an area showing....I'd rather see my county than the Tri-State area when I'm looking for bad weather so I sometimes have to zoom in.

I tried it today and found something else. If you say show weather, it will give you the local weather forecast and temp and conditions. If I say weather map then it gives me the 4-state view.

I said weather map but what came up only had about a 1 mile radius and didn't show any overlayed weather. It just looked like NAV. did I do something wrong?

Andy, I found that when in "home" screen, the "weather map" command works perfectly to show regional weather. I like it!!!

I touch the "home" in the upper left screen and it goes right to home screen.

They’ll give you 6 months for $25-30. Just make sure you call and get it again before it auto renews at the retail price.
Sorry for the topic drift but is that in regards to renewing the travel apps after 5-years or the regular music/audio subscription? If it is the music/audio subscription, is there a name for this package? We have been using the SiriusXM Select anual renewal at $130 per vehicle, so $25-30 every 6-months would be a bargain.

That’s for the music/audio package...just tell them it’s too expensive and you want to cancel. 100% guarantee they offer you the rate. I’ve literally been doing this for years. Never fails.

I don’t know if it does all the Sirius apps...my truck doesn’t have those

You can also access the weather map thru “Apps” button then “Travel Link”, then select “Weather”...or, as others have pointed out, say “Weather” to have Sync do the work for ya.

Its there! You roll the window down then lick your finger and stick it up in the air. It will tell you wind direction and current conditions! Also tells you humidity and temp.

With Sirus you have to go through the BS of threatening to cancel to get $100/year, same aggrevation every year when they send a $250 bill. I have heard of others getting 12 months for less than that but they have to get really nasty. Stupid way to sell a product IMO
