Lowering only works if your roads don't suck. We get some huge potholes out here, so you have to be prepared. I used to call PA the "we hate tires" state after all the times I drove through on I81. It looks good, but long wheelbase + lowering just seems like a bad idea to me.

If your roads suck lowering is the least of your worries. Dont forget that bigger wheels and low profile tires are a deal breaker too

I Was originally going to do this to mine, but opted to lift it.
I didn't know switching torsion bars front to back and left and right did anything?
Yep they were a ***** to take out let me tell you!!! Hahaha but it was so worth it

Yeh it's not too low. My lightning on the other hand. Calling it low is an understatement. It's dropped 5" in the front and 8" out back. It tucks tires lol. I'm just really careful when I drive both the trucks
I live on a street that requires me to go over 2 speed bumps on the way in. My friends with lowered vehicles don't visit often...

I have a 2001 with no air suspension and AWD. For the front I flipped the torsion bars from left to right and front to back. Used belltech drop shocks to accommodate the lowered suspension travel. The rear I used belltech 2" lowering springs without the spring isolators. I'm using airlift 1000 helper bags and Monroe air shocks. I tow my lightning with my expy. The 20" lightning replicas finishes it off aswell. Handles like night and day. I still have to remove and get shorter front bump stops.
I never thought a lowered expy could look this good, mabye try getting a better camera and get a proper shoot with it. whatever you used was playing hell with the odd lighting
Whar does pot holes have to do with lowering? I think that statement is only accurate or of concern if its going to be a low-low...or riding big rims and thin tires like 25 series profile he has at least 35s...he's good unless its a massively deep pothole in which stock tires dont prevent damage
