I put on lt tires and my tpms says check pressure. I think it thinks I'm running too much air cause factory tires call for 44 and the lt tires call for 80 what you guys think?

I do not know much about the tire pressure systems, but seeing as that is nearly double the stock tire pressure I would say that would cause problems. Either that, or one of the stems was damaged when you put on the new tires. That is pretty common.

too much air shouldnt be a prob...i've done that a few times and no light...if it can be reprogrammed it would be the dealership or some other shop that has that capability...tire shop should be able to do it too

the tires max pressure is 80psi, you dont have to run them at that pressure, it would be hard to get enough weight on an expy without breaking something else first...

i had 10ply on mine and got best ride/tire wear at 40psi...

with all that said lower your pressure down and see if the light goes out that would be a quick free check to see what is going on

Even if the tire states 80psi you need to run the pressures that are on the Tire Decal that is on the B-pillar. On my 2005 it states to use a 265/70/17 and pressures are to be 35 psi. If you are running 80 psi you would be able to feel a fly's a** crack if you ran over it
