I have a 2019 expedition limited stealth. Are these supposed to come with the cross bars on the roof rack? My wifes 2018 navigator did. Not a big deal, just wondering.

Apparently, when you purchase them separately from the dealer they come with a hex key but if it's factory installed there is no key? I purchased mine separately and received the key.

common tool - its nothing special, you can buy the torx bit for a couple of bucks at AutoZone, Sears or Walmart.

Yes, I know. In fact I ditched the provided tool in favor of my socket set as that Ikea wrench was horrible. My point was more about the intriguing aspect of a tool not provided when ordered through the factory.

its rare when I order parts from any supplier that they send a tool....I wouldn't expect to receive a nice expensive tool w/ my purchase.
