Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and looking for some advice.
Well I'm finally getting to trick out my 99XLT, after it is worn out and being handed down to my son.
Not going to do anything major, currently in process on getting the mechanical items fixed (rear main seal leak, rebuilt the trans, fixed a few other minor items).
First thing for looks is new rims and tires. It is a stock 4x4 at this point. I would like to do 18in rims, or maybe 20s with the lower profile off road tires, but I'm open to all suggestions.
Not planning to lift it, just want to get a better look. It had 16s when I bought it, and I swapped those out to some 17s which looked much better, but it could still take more from what I remember.
I am open to maybe doing a very slight torsion bar lift, but not much and would rather avoid it if possible.
Most of the additional investment will be in audio ;-)
If anyone has pics as examples that would be awesome as well.
Thanks
