Well after being a loyal V-power Shell 93 octane user for the last several months...I thought I would try Sunoco 94 octane..still all gas no corn and is the fuel of NASCAR...LOL...and wow..what a difference so far in the performance and the not even the first quarter tank...throttle response is more snappy and runs stronger...normally get about 35 to 40 miles to the first quarter tank, Im in the middle of the quarter and got 65 miles...I have been running level 3 on the Edge programmer and have advance the timing and shift points higher and harder...So much fun....keep you all posted

I have found on mine...I get more MPG using the higher octane...cost me about an extra 9.00 to fill up with higher octane to get another 65 to 75 miles per tank...if you do the math it makes since...and this was before I added the Edge programmer which I have set in performance mode and have adjusted the timing...my 2 cents....oh sorry my $9.00..lmao..

Sunoco has 94 octane?? The higher the better for me. Have to check that out. I believe they are required to run a percentage of ethanol at least here in MD.

Tom, I have noticed going south as well that gas was mixed 10% with ethanol....I usually pass on stations like that...even shell in tennesse was mixed...

Holy Jesus...your tank run under the whole truck? how much is gas there...I pay 3.99 a gallon and it cost about 88.00

obviously you dont have the privlidge of having a 97 4x4 with a 30 GALLON TANK!!!

when gas was $3.18 a few months ago here I gave the attendant a $100 bill and said "lets see if that gets it full" :)

all stations are mandated by law here in FLA to mix their gas with ethanol... Thanks Bush. I typically will go and get gas almost every single day that I drive my truck, since most of my money is made from tips I usually arrive at work 5 miles to empty or less with $0 in my pocket and put $15 in her to get home, and get back to work the next day (planning ahead at its best right there)

I have had my truck on F about 4 times in the 7 months I've owned it
Kinda worried about the fuel pump burning out B/C of doing that....

summer time its not such a big deal. but come winter time i fill up all my trucks at 1/2 or no later then 1/4 because you do not want to be stuck in a snow bank in -20F weather with no gas lol

it is kinda a pain keeping all my trucks gassed up but i hate seeing that needle off F.

Damn, how I envy you guys... $3.9 a gallon. Wow. The price for regular in Montreal is $1.3 / litre today. That means $4.9 a gallon.
Cost me $120 to fill up the Expy last Sunday and the fuel light wasn't even on (it said I still had about 55 miles to empty).

That's why I ride on empty every time i take a trip to Vermont or upstate NY and make sure i fill her up over there before i cross the border back home. :)
