I doubt anyone would want to trade the darker appearing headlamps from their limited, but if so, give me a PM. I'd like to put Limited Headlamps on my Eddie Bauer.
Thanks,

these headlights are no joke to open, and i dont think it is a good idea if all you want is spray it black, its definitely necessary for hid retrofits.

permaseal is no joke on these headlights. tough as a *****.

Yeah, I'd rather keep them oem-sealed. (Interesting reads though on people splitting them, thanks.)

Trade is still open.

Not at game

Hey FREEWAY, I was not at the game the other day. I've been building an out building Up North the last few months, so that has sucked up my weekends although I usually only make it to a U of M game about once every other year anyways.

Nice area here...I like it. I'd like it even more with some Limited Headlamps on my family hauler! (...and some Nokian Rotiivas, but that will be a year from now)

Trade Still open. Also, if anyone has any high quality aftermarket setups with the same look of the Limiteds, pass that information along as well.

Thanks,
******

Open those bastards up and paint them. Will take ya day if you work on them patiently and carefully. Throw some projectors in while you're there.

Realistically, I think it only took me about an hour to an hour and a half to open each one up.

My EL is a 2008, here is the only picture I have of it. I took this picture on July 13th. I'll take some closeups of the headlights individually if you're interested.

Regards,

I didn't forget....just forgot

Static54, I didn't forget about you, but I do keep forgetting to take clean pics after a car wash. Instead, I keep remembering when there are bugs (like these pics, taken on Woodward the Friday Night before the Dream Cruise).

Anyways, I'll try to get some clearer (no bug juice) images in the next week or two.

Thanks for being patient,
******

More Pictures

I did finally take some better pictures, I noticed there looks to be some crazing on the pass-side lens that you can see if the light/reflections are just right. Static 54, let me know if you're still interested. I know I've been slow to act on a lot of this. I typically just leave the Expedition alone because I'm busy working on my other junk!

Tickle...I put new tires on the other day (Rugged Terrains; They seem okay, and it was a heck of a deal), and now am thinking of the headlight swap again as the face could use an attitude adjustment to better match the tires.

Let me know if you're interested.
