I have been totally out of luck in finding a Kleenex box that would fit in my new-to-me truck's console lid. Out of desperation I did my first "mod". I modified a big Kleenex box by cutting down the corners up to about an inch of the top of the box, and did a slit down the bottom to separate it into two halves and from the end pieces. I then folded it down to size and taped it up with packaging tape. It fits absolutely perfectly! :pepper:

Now by cutting out one end of the box, I can use it over and over and stuff new tissue in it when needed. That end isn't needed because it's inserted in the plastic holder and covered.

What do you think?

Kleenex box

Hey Fun,
when you get serious on a mod you really put a little boogie into it! :doublepuke:

FYI..the soft plastic package of Kleenex wipes fits perfect in there and their moist...no sticky fingers....LMAO..

i had my cb in there for a little bit, but took it out. it was a good location since i do not use it all the time (so it was not inconvenient to just open it up and turn it on) but decided to move it elsewhere. not that little spot just sits empty...maybe i will put some tissues in there too (so i have something to dry my tears every time i fill up!)
