Just picked this baby up today. It's a 2001 5.4 4x4 XLT special edition. It's definitely been rode hard put away wet. It's rare to find a so cal car that has been off roaded, mudded nicely lol. But then agian I only paid $ 1400 for it can't really expect much more.
It has exactly 151k miles on it. Engine runs smooth as butter and shifts are good too. Besides the driver seat Interior is good shape. Dirty but good. Front end needs a little work but quick search revealed that changing the upper control arms are pretty easy and cheap.
Tomorrow I'll drop it off to the detail shop and see if they can buff out some of the scratches that caused by brush and stuff and as you can see there is one that goes the entire length of the truck that is not gonna come out.
Anywho it's gonna be a fun project.
