Good afternoon. The navigation system on my ‘20 Platinum needs to be reset from the previous owners info. If there is a way to do it on the touchscreen within the navigation screens, I can’t figure it out. Was recently in for recall work and inquired if they could take care of it. He said sure thing, the charge is $189 (which is their hourly labor rate) to plug in and clear the history. I am certain this is probably a 5 to maybe 10 minute job, I declined the offer.
Is there a way I can handle this within the touchscreen menus? FYI, I am considering getting the Forescan software but will need to purchase a laptop as I am leary of using the Apple app on a phone. I assume it can be accomplished using that software. TIA!
