Need help.Spark plug wiring diagram.

I found two diagrams online. Which one is correct? can someone help?


Mine is (1997 4.6 L) connected like on figure two as far as i can see for cyl. 1st.1997 4.6 L
My problem is missfire. plugs and coils are new. there is only one thing left wires but i dont want to spend much money cause the wires are changed 2 years ago. alll parts motorcraft.Thanks

What codes are present? Misfire can also be caused by vacuum leaks, low fuel pressure and of course bad wires amongst other things.

missfire on 1 and 2nd cyl.

Buy a spark tester and connect to all cables and compare results for all cables also uncap radiator cap and check if coolant spurts out due to exhaust gas leak caused by faulty head gasket.
