thanks baker i should be gettin mine today or tomorrow im almost out of gas im runnin low so i can refill with 91 plus octane

i drive my expy very responsively since i like the truck and want to drive it just mpgs hurt me i can drive around full throttle in my corolla i hit stop in go traffic all the way to work then 90+ whole way home and i average 30.5mpg on highway im gettin 36+ i used to get 44-45 on highway but its tottaled right now and aerodynamics make it or break it in fuel milage... im a flatt wall pushin through air right now

ill do bakers setting i got a decent drive sunday and ill let you know what my first fuel milage trip looks like

blueoval keep attention to this thread the special ends jan 5th ill tell you what i notice but you gotta realize im doin round 11ish give or take where i get fuel. i have gotts mod tb spaceer and full exhaust. if you have any questions just ask. but this way you can see a few different peoples results and decide for yourself. keep in mind that if you tow at all this is very beneficial cause of the quicker shifts which cause alot less heat wear and tear on tranny

ok finally... updated my edge... now gonna wait for Bakers settings... gonna play with it some more......

Ok guys...here are the settings I use on my Edge at level 3 performance with 93 octane fuel....try to make sure you get pure gas with NO ethanol...I personally have my background reading 8 parameters....I like to watch whats going on....anyone needing help to set these up let me know...
1- Speed limiter 140 mph
2- Rev limiter 5208
3- Timing 2.0 +
4- 1-2 Shift points Stock - no change
5- 2-3 Shift points -2 mph
6- 3-4 Shift points Stock - no change
7- Shift firmness Set them all at 25% max
8- WOT 1.30+
All the others program points set to your specs such as tire size and gear ratio...anyone with questions can either message me on this thread or call me at 305-791-8444 this will wake your engine up and you will notice an immediate throttle response improvement....but remember to get mileage you have to drive for it....this thing weight 7000 pounds...its not a focus...I have noticed though even when I do play with mine and get my foot into it, that it dont effect my mileage much.

you have any luck running lower octane gas??? too damn expensive up here for 93... wonder how those settings would be on lev 2 with 87.....

dunno....never tried....I like the fact of the mileage and having the performance when I want to stomp on it....you should do a tank of 87 and check the mileage and then a tank of 93 price difference compare to more miles...thats what sold me...

ok level 1 to work 70mph with traffic trucks overhead said 16, level 3 coming home +10 on all shifts 15mpg coming home on overhead and yes i reset it each time. edge said overall average was 17.8 and same gas station same pump said 14.1...wtf.... nothing is the same and that is with 91 at QT gas station. i have noticed i run consistent 11-12 mpg with QT gas in town which is better then anywhere else. and this was all highway driving my work backs up to the freeway and QT is right off the freeway also

the only thing i can see helping me is the timing i really hope +2 helps that much... how are you figuring your mpg and what does your truck overhead say....

Those overhead factory console suck and are very inaccurate....set up your Edge to display 8 gauges and then pick the gauge you want...you can do the avg miles and instant..then you can compare the edge reading to your overhead and see how far its off.

you will find that you will be bumping that timing 2 degrees more than the edge program does going to level 3...my truck dont have one of those fancy POS overhead gauges....my edge does...and I figure my mileage this way...reset the trip to 0 and fill the tank till the pump clicks off...drive that tank of gas out and refill the same way....than divide the current miles drove into the gallons of the refill...

I had mine on the freeway the other day and had a nice wide open stretch so I opened the old girl up and all I got out her was 104mph top speed...very smooth felt good and held her at that speed for about a mile, but thought I would have got at least 120 to 130 out of her

actually my overhead gause is pretty accurate... it tells you the average mpg since it has been reset. well im going outside to try those settings

well it woke it up... cruising at 35mph edge says 15mpg time will see...

but like as posted before im checkin trip milage and im using the same pump and same gas station and edge truck and pump are tellin me different. pump said 14.1, truck said 15-16 16 to work 15 home so like 15.5, and the edge said 17.8. wtf i checked and mt tire size gear ratio all say stock in edge which they are stock. but i just went to bakers settings... even the -2mph on 2-3 gear and +25 on shift pressures. only thing is truck now idles around 740rpm it was idling at 640 before i bumped the timing up +2. should i lower my idle? thinking about sending this thing back to get the cts... a cts gps and xm satelite radio with same screen size all along the left side of my window would look really cool

Yeah it's very perky now with those settings. I switched over, filled it up with the good stuff, and we'll see. 9.8mpg on the last tank so there is no where to go but up.

Thats exactly were mine was in the begining....you will see its only about $9.00 to 10.00 bucks to fill it with the good stuff, but you will get more in the overall tank usage...so lets say you get 250 to a tank you will see now you might get 325 to a tank....when I would fill mine pre-Edge, I would get 35 to 40 miles on the first 1/4 and 150 maybe to a half tank...now I get 75 to the first 1/4 and 250 to half tank...again driving habits will dictate the out come as well...your edge has the "Mileage Coach" and will tell you all the same stats your overhead does....caompare the 2 of them....also DO NOT put 87 octane gas in that truck with those setting like they are....you will get spark knock and you dont want that with spark plugs blowing out of holes....make sure you tell the wife.....I very rarely let my wife drive my truck or her SS for that fact...always make sure they are full....and I think I mentioned this already....but try to buy PURE gas NO ethanol...stations have to post that stuff...If you hear any spark knock you can always throw a bottle of the octane boost in...I have used the Gumout brand because it helps clean the fuel injectors as well....keep me posted. I love hearing how well these Edge products work...See I have already done the R&D for you guys....you should all chip in and get me a gas card for what you will save...LMAO....actually if all your results are good....take 20.00 bucks out of your fuel savings and if your not, become a supporting member on this site....
