New '22 Expedition Limited Stealth

I’m probably older than most of you guys on here at 68 but have loved a 3 of my expeditions and my new platinum is on the way here right now. The thing that I am wondering is this ceramic tint that a few of you have mentioned. What it it and where do you have it put on the car.

It’s the type of window tint. Ceramic cause the heat to reflect so inside is cooler. Doesn’t just block the light. It blocks the UV

Just looked at your picture pre PPF. The lettering seems to be at the same location as mine. Hope when I pick it up they don’t tell me the same thing. Will see

I've got the 2022 Limited Stealth 304A. Do you notice rough shifting on 3rd gear at low steady speeds? 6,000 miles and noticed it about a 1,000 miles ago. Coming in to and out of 3rd seems to be the culprit. By the way, on mine, there is a setting for the speed sign recognition to auto-adjust your set speed. I have the 15" display so not sure if the operating system is different than the 12" in minor ways to be signficant.

Don’t know yet. Only have 91 miles on it and it’s at the shop now getting a full PPF.

Just finished getting it full ceramic tinted (minus the windshield), PPF and paint correction. Decided not to do ceramic coating yet but may change my mind in the future. One big frustration is whoever put my hood lettering on at the factory was out to lunch. It was over an inch off center and didn’t match the XPEL template. So they had to remove the lettering to do a full pattern. Now deciding whether or not to order new lettering…

They just started on my car today. Here is the pre PPF. They took the door handle off and the lettering off the front and back. So that answers the question about letting being off center. I will post the post PPF pictures. I would go back to the shop and ask for them to put it back on.

i have a 19. I can always feel when it goes into 3rd gear and 5th gear. Not sure why, its just those 2.
