New Expy owner - Cali

We just bought a nice, used 1999. Has 160k + on it, and the engine doesn't feel like it. The guy we bought it from used it to pull his boat at one point, and had the tranny re-built. We're gonna use it for camping and hauling kids. Had a Suburban that we killed, literally. Had just under 300K. I like the Expy better, even though we lose cargo room.

Welcome to a fellow Californian! Hope you enjoy the Expedition, I have to agree about being better than the Chevy, I like the ride and higher level of comfort which seems a bit more refined than the Chevy.......styling though I give to Chevy, loved the "street" look of my Tahoe. Get a roof top carrier, solves the cargo issue.

Came with it. I like the styling better than the GM's. Seems a little tougher looking.

post some pics when you can.....dying to see if it's either black or eddie bauer red/tan....those two colors seem to dominate here

oh and yes, fords feel way more solid than gm's stuff.

It's not black or red. It's the olive (?) green. I like it. I'll post some pics.
