What's up y'all? I'm Chris. 27, from the Nashville area. I have never owned anything bigger than a Mazda Protege and Saturn Ion. So I'm getting used to driving a much larger vehicle lol. Big Army trucks were never a problem so my new 04 Expedition isn't much of a challenge.

I saw it at a local dealership and thought it wasn't a bad deal for $10,995 with 139k miles considering KBB was about $10,800.

So far I love driving it, I'm currently looking into a small lift and maybe a little bit bigger tires. But I want to keep it pretty mild mannered as I still drive a lot on the interstate.

Any suggestions on better gas mileage or lift/tires is greatly appreciated. (I've already looked at the Truxx lift and a tire link I found while trolling around in the 2nd Gen section)

Welcome.

Mileage improvement? Depends on how much $ you have, or driving habits as others will tell you. I use cruise everywhere I go, try to keep my foot out of the accelerator and stay ahead of both preventive and routine maintenance. Open up the air inlet, a few ways to do this, correct tire pressure, keep minimum stuff out of the back, every pound counts, shift to neutral on extended stops/red lights.

sure others will chime in on lift/tires.
