Hello. I have a 97 expy with nothing done to it. I want to do some work on it and have a couple questions. I want to put a lift on it, but dont want to dump a bunch of money into it. I am thinking about putting a 3in body lift with either some 33s or 35s. Do you think this is a good idea. And if i do lift it should i take out the rear air bags and put in some springs and how big. Thanks

welcome... on stock rims 285/75 fit without the body lift... but the most common lift setup members run is a 3" body lift, 2" or 3" coil spacer in the rear and cranked torsion bars and then 35s... but if your bags are good I would wait but if you are gonna do the conversion to springs then it would be the time to order a spacer from ebay cheap and install it with the new coils since the coils will already be out.... just my .02...lol... you will learn a lot here
