My 2013 expy is acting very strange. the speedo will drop to 0 and stay there while driving. On occasion it will lose all power completely for few seconds. The MPH to empty will then come up as _ _ _ MPH to empty. And the tire pressure monitor will light up and sometimes say tire pressure monitor fault. On occasion the wrench will flash or the check engine light. The AC is blowing full blast and will not change speeds, but does change temp in auto. It just seems weird that all this is happening at the same time. I plan on taking it to get checked for codes this weekend.

How long have you had the truck? Electrical gremlins can be miserable to track down, especially if you don't know the history of the vehicle.

Best case scenario is a bad ground or faulty connection somewhere. Worst case is that you're driving a flood vehicle.

We bought it used in 2016. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t flooded. But you never know. This is the first time we’ve been seeing these strange issues. It will be a nightmare trying to track down a bad ground.

People have mentioned that electrical Gremlins can be a bad battery
or I guess low battery / charging system

just an idea to check

I would first check body/frame grounds as mentioned, a bad ground can be intermittent and cause all sorts of issues. If you have issues with rain leakage, might want to check the fuse box for tracks or trace of previous water. Earlier ones had issue with water getting in the box.

Similar happened to my dads 2008 E-350 w/ 5.4L. Gauges would all zero out, radio would shut off driving down the road. It was the molded plug that goes into the computer I believe. The mechanic unhooked the plugs and sprayed them with cleaner and reconnected. Problem never returned. He sold that van at about 200,000 to his plumber buddy who still uses it everyday at now 230,000 miles. Still no issue.

it’s either a loose connection/plug behind the dashboard or one of those big plugs in the engine bay on a pin. It’s a common minor issue on Fords.

Good way to check if a vehicle has been submerged, check bottom of seats/tracks. Hope that's not OP issue.

We had some electrical gremlins a while back and while we didn't have the same symptoms as you they were similar in nature. Just a bunch of strange stuff. Turns out, it was nothing more than a loose ground wire under the dash.
