Hey folks

Found this site via a search. This is our Second EXP. Our first one (08) was totalled in an accident and we bought a 2011 Explorer only to have it bought back by the dealer/Ford 5 months later. So we are back in another EXP 2011.

I happen to run two forums myself, smaller in size one for my cycling team in Texas and the other is for Auto Detailing. My detailing site is dedicated to the weekend warrior who needs help maintaining the paint surface. We have many pros on the site to offer up advice. Some of you "may" recognize my screen name from other Ford forums. We are a Ford family, 2011 EXP and 2006 F250 King Ranch PSD.

Happy to be there and happy to be in another EXP. Great SUV's.

Cheers

The RollingRock.

I only have a few pics now

This is after wash, clay and polish step. I told the dealer to detail the car that i would take care of it.

Process was
Wash (2 bucket method) Foam gun using Optimum Car Soap
Clayed with Megs Blu using #34 QD
Lightly polished with Black Lake finish bad using a FLex DA, product was Optimum Poli-Seal.

I have much work to do on this paint...this was a quick job to make it look better.
