I just got my first expedition with the 5.4 triton v8, ive owned many fords but nothing with the triton in it. So very different, but so far i like the expedition. The only problem i have come across is i don't have any heat, i have watched alot of videos on the blender door but havent found anything on flushing the heater core, has anyone flushed the heater core?

What year is the expy and also which model. There are some videos on flushing on you tube also chek your onlet and outlet temps thru the heater core They should be close to the same if not then you need a flush Look at the heating and AC section here on the forum for some of the recent posts. you mat also want to check the rear heater core as well.

Its a 99 xlt model, I just checked the rear heat and it seems to be working. I left it running for a little, it got warm. I looked for the heater hoses and they look like ac lines, nothing like the old heater hoses. I looked at the antifreeze in the reservoir and it looked reddish not green at all. So im sure it is going to need flushed.
