New Regulator installed in the drivers Door.

Window will open and close, but the motor keeps running. Is this a motor initialization issue? I've tried two different procedures found on the internet with no success.

It looks like you have two problems first is the control relay is sticking on and you have a switch that is stuck. Here is a wiring diagram so you can see how the system works.
