New to Expedition...not new to Ford

After many models including Boss 302, 65 HyPo, a few drag cars and everything in between, I bought an 09 Expedition. Never thought I'd own an SUV, especially one this size. Not many miles logged on it yet, but like it a lot. It's got 94000 and runs super great. Just did a preliminary fuel mileage test. Dead stock...75 mile trip on cruise and the computer said an average of 20.4 mpg. Will check the old fashion way later. Will change intake and recheck and then exhaust and re check again. We needed more room for my wife's business and having eight grand kids, this will help. Look forward to assimilating new info.

Well, just got back from a 2800 mile trip to Calif. Kept track of MPG both on the computer and the old fashion way with my pencil. Averaged 18.6. Changing plugs today and will note improvement. Found a strange thing with the plugs. Order Motocraft SP-515 plugs that were noted to fit, but when I removed the old plugs, they were Motocraft HJFS24FP. Totally different in appearance and size. Odd. Any thoughts as to why the difference?
