Newb Timberline Question

In the market for a Timberline.
The part circled… what is it made out of? And can it be painted or wrapped?
I have no local Timberlines I can go look at. I see the sensors too which I’m sure you can’t mess with and would remain gray but I’m struggling with that gray piece lol
Not a deal breaker but its meh… to me.

The part above the front tow hooks is plastic, just like the back bumper cover. The part below the front tow hooks is metal.
