PS: They also survived my recent unfortunate run in with the dump truck, as did the marker, fog and turn signal LEDs (those were from diode dynamics). I’m pretty certain any lamp with a filament would have been knocked out.

I bought GTR Lighting headlights and fog lights led bulbs, they are awesome, on the expensive side, over 1000 luminescent. Other brands to choose from, use to have 8000k hid kits, not bad get hot and bulbs blow out

I’ve used all the Sylvania bulbs. They’re OK… however, not super impressive. Then I found out about Headlight Revolution https://www.headlightrevolution.com/. Great products with great warranties.

I installed the same bulbs as bloodhound in June 2020 on my 2011 Limited. No problems so far, straightforward install with no surprises.

I've been running ddmtuning HID kits on various vehicles for about 10 years. I've had 1 ballast and 1 bulb fail and not on the same car in all of that time. I plan to add them to the expedition when I get new housings, just trying to decide what look I want. Never any issues with heat/melting/discoloration or anything like that.

The 55w 6000k looks very white with a slight blue hue, extremely close to what the Navigator HID looks like from factory.

I upgraded the entire housing on my 07 to the Arco(sp) led headlight. Much better than the origiginals.

Well I was thinking bulbs but those lights look good.

What Arco(sp) LED headlight?

That's Anzo and they have no LEDs at all. Even the mood ring is CCFL or whatever you call that (think spiral lightbulbs)

Also, they only last for 2 years, give or take 6 months.
