I have a 2010 Expedition Eddie Bauer with factory Navigation System, I have an orange box with a diagonal line through it. "NO GPS" So the navigation doesn't work also the clock doesn't work(this is how I brought the truck).
Few weeks ago I went to San Diego and on our way back the GPS start acting weir and now the map shows I'm in long beach when I actually live in Modesto, I did the following and still won't work.

1) Updated SYNC
2) Updated the navigation software & maps.
3) Unplug the battery.
4) Check the fuse box.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I had the same issue with my GPS at one time. It did work and then I had the same issue as you. But what I had done was plug in an external SSD to the USB port in the arm rest. It took me a minute to think about unplugging it. Sure never would have thought, but that was my issue. I haven't tried an external HDD or thumb drive yet. I just know that my 11 Expy didn't like the SSD.
