'15 EL - No heat from front for rear units. I have changed the blend door actuator already.

Has anyone had the auxiliary water pump fail? I'm asking because before the problem occurred I could hear the coolant in the heater core "whoosh" when the engine started.
I'm not hearing that any longer. Also, I can get heat temporarily while the engine is running at higher rpm (passing on a two-lane for example).

I have tested for voltage at the pump and it's good.
Part # is Part # is "FL1Z-18d473-A".

Thanks

Its the first I've heard of an electric water pump on these. Where is this thing located?

Not glad to hear you were a gallon low, but glad to hear the issue is resolved.

mquick5 - Good question. Not sure. There are no leaks that I'm aware of - internal or external. But I will be keeping a much closer eye on the level.
It has ~83K miles on it.

Flexpedition - the pump is an auxiliary pump that is inline on the heater hose. It's located on the front left of the block.

The main pump is pulley driven.
