Hello,

My wife went to drive our 2008 Expedition this afternoon and we have lost power to all interior functions. The lights, radio, sunroof, locks, mirrors all don't work. There is probably more not working on the interior but I haven't checked.

I checked all fuses with a tester, and none are blown? Might this be a relay? If so, which one? I replaced the interior accessory delay relay with no luck. I tested all fuses inside and under hood.

There were issues with broke wires and corroded connections inside the wiring harness bundles that run under the driver's side sill but I can't remember much other than something about it being a three or four-way splice and that keeps the power from flowing but I'm sorry that may not be enough to find the link.

Sounds like a major common ground wire going to said interior functions is busted

Fuses lay along the separate (+) paths bringing different voltages and amperages to various electronics... for a common fail of everything powered in one or more "areas" but not for the entire vehicle period, that has got to be a common ground (-) imho

PS you said "interior" which Im presuming means it starts and has at least some exterior lights, yes?

Good theory but not all these functions share the same ground. Still, it's a great place to start. G300 serves door locks, power windows, power seats, moon roof, and exterior mirrors. It's located behind the right side kick panel. I would disconnect it, then clean it, add some dielectric grease, and reattach.

What if you follow it down the line, just cuz the wire is numbered differently doesnt mean it doesnt branch off from a common point
