I'm having a hard time to push the fuel rail onto the fuel injectors with the o-rings. I tried to use a rubber mallet to hammer on top of the fuel rail to no avail. Tomorrow I'm going to try spray some WD40 on the o-rings and then hammer it with the mallet.

Is there a better way to push the fuel rail onto the injectors? Should I try remove the injectors from the IMRC first, install them onto the fuel rail, and then re-install the rail-injector assembly?

Rub a little lithium grease on them.

I was going to tell you to lube the o-rings as well. However, I would’ve first had you check the overall condition of the o-rings as I’m concerned if they may have gotten damaged from attempting to force them on.
