Yeah its been a while since ive been on the forum but anyway.
SO i start changing the oil today around 4:00pm. Got the oil drained and made a big mess but yeah got the old shit out.
Go to take the filter off and she's a B*tch to turn... but then it turns and turns and turns and wont come off or tighten back on.
Thinking the outside of the filter has seperated from the inner structure of the filter... SO i drove a screwdriver through it and nothing. Still spins.
SO i took a pair of tinsnips to it to hopefully get to something I could manipulate with channel locks, a c-clamp, or anything!
Still NOTHING!!!
The filter's destroyed which dosent matter because the first thing i tried to do when I realized it was stripped or F'ed in what everis wrong was to try and tighten the filter and put it back on so i could drive it to a shop.
Now i have a 6000lb oil dripping yard ornament!
