Ok I see why people start getting gray hair.

I have a 2000 Expy EB, 5.4 auto with 113000. I picked it up in August for a song. Now I wonder why. Dealer changed the oil in August. In early November the oil light came on and then it stalled. I got it back to the house , it was 4 quarts low. There is no smoke or visiable leaks. I topped it off and tried to restarted it. It stumbled like a Pats fan on Sunday. It gave PO codes 305, 306, 307 and 357. I replaced the coil on plug and spark plugs, ran a little better. it gives a bank 1 lean on the scanner. I pulled the injectors to clean them. All injectors checked at 15ohm, fuel pressure holds at 28psi on, and 40 psi running. As I cleaned the injectors, 5 of them when cycled with a 9v battery, the cleaning fluid pour out with no resitance. The other 3 dripped when tapped on the inlet orifce. I reinstalled the injector on the same banks but different cyl. It still stumbles/misfires, runs a little better than the last time. I pretty much feel its the injector(s), but do not want to fix it by replacing all the injectors. I cleaned the MAF and ACS, tested the EGR with vaccum guage, DMPS and voltmetered the TPS. I couldnt get the gauge in to do a compression test. I hate in complete testing but, I would like some input on if I should stop and replace the injectors.

Dripping injectors need to be replaced. Bank 1 lean sounds like a vacuum line needs replacing due to cracking, or needs to be reinstalled if it slipped off the nipple. The only way to know which one is to inspect all of them. Is it possible the oil is clogging up a mis-installed vacuum line? Check your PCV valve to see if it is clogged too.

I did a vacuum test on the EGR works fine. I also sprayed some brake cleaner, and then 20 min later used propane around the entire intake and the RPMs did not change.

Thanks for the info on dripping injectors, I was thinking so hard my head hurt. I love this truck. I have had Land Rovers that are great stock offroaders. The Expy has all most the same capabillites and a far better ride when you are in the seat all day. Oh yeah the wife loooooves the leather on her bare ass.
