alright well this question is mainly aimed at people who have put a double din radio in their expedition. I have decided on this head unit,

because, well its cool. I have seen in other places people saying the standard metra double din kit sticks out past the A/C controls and I dont want that so I found this

I didn't need installation kit for mine...buy it just in case and return it if you don't need it...double din will fit in your truck...beware that everyone says that there a LITTLE plastic piece in the very back that needs some trimming...that is all...
