Something nice to have and isn't very expensive is a Bluetooth OBD2 and the Torque Pro app Can be paired to you smart phone or tablet Cost for both could be under $20.00

I use a simple bluetooth model with the Torque Pro app as well.
Works great for simple diagnosis and also turning of check engine lights. I think I spent a total of $30 between the bluetooth scanner and the android app.
Available on Amazon

Me too! And I was going to buy an Actron CP9580A but it was cheaper to buy the bluetooth module AND an Inexpensive Samsung Tablet! So...I got 2 toys in one!

Is this What you are talking about. Getting ready to purchase one and just want to make sure I get the right thing. $10 on ebay and Android has a free Torque Pro listed
