options for transmission replacement

Just lost reverse on my 03' EB 5.4L with a 4R70W trans and would like to replace it rather than repair it. What other Ford trucks can i use to replace it with? Are all 4R70W trans compatible? I noticed the 1st gen Expeditions use this same code trans but then it says fits 97-02. Hopefully F-150s use the same because there plenty of them

Oh and also, are 4.6L trans any different from the 5.4L versions?

Make sure it fits the vehicle before you buy it. The bell housing or something like that may be different. I ended up with that problem on my 98 Durango and cost me more time and money.
