Has anyone wired up a PAC Steering Wheel interface? The one I will be ordering is the SWI-PS for Pioneer/Sony radios. The Expedition-specific wiring instructions on their site seems a bit confusing to me. Anyone else done one that can help me out?

Here are the instructions on the PAC site: http://bit.ly/HYQ3ea

Did you check out the link? Pretty much the whole thing!

Cutting loops and wiring in resistors... wondering if the Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface will work, it definitely looks easier to install.

I really don't want to pay for installation when it's obviously something I can do myself. I mean, I just installed my head unit, including the PAC interface. I just need instructions that are a bit more clear. I'll figure it out though.

I got one in my 2008. I got mine from Crutchfiled.com when I ordered the stereo.

I went to the manufacturer's link for the installation directions. Very simple. Only two wires for my truck. and another two wires on the actual head unit.

The programming took about 30 seconds. Haven't had an issue since I installed it.

Thanks VT, that makes me feel better. Should be ordering mine any day now... waiting on the accountant (wife!).
