Park brake light stays on - pedal returns ok and i can FEEL it release on a hill

Also, normal brakes behave normally, brake fluid level correct

Ideas?

Does anything stand out / look wrong? There IS some weird green connector that appears unused, but no sign of anything that was plugged into it

2012 gator, same park brake system as 3rd gen expy
Chime sounds and dash warning about brake on as well

Btw happened after changing air filter, anything i could have knocked loose there?

RESOLVED : n/m, i somehow kicked loose the rubber stopper on the pedal that engages the park brake light switch

Wow, why doesn't Ford paint or coat any of the in-dash/Under dash brackets with anything. So much rust/corrosion, and you are in So California?!? Wonder what it would look like in a state that has constant high humidity and Winter Weather..

You and I are both in MD....plenty of humidity.....no worry. You might be making a mountain out of a molehill to worry re; corrosion
