Has anybody come across there parking brakes (shoes) causing a grinding while turning left or right? I can't hear grinding, just can feel it in the seat of my pants. Feels like something is holding it up in the rear of the truck.

Sometimes I get the same problem to come up while sitting at a stop light. Seems to get worse if I am in stop and go traffic.

I'm not sure if it is the rear brakes/e-brake are binding up, or if it is a rear differential, transmission problem. Wheel bearings going bad? How do you check wheel bearings?

Rear pads only have 1,000 miles on them. The parking brake shoes have not been replaced. Rear diff fluid changed 6 months ago with MC XL-3 additive.

Maybe the limited slip is going bad. I could actualy feel mine binding when I went around a turn. I got lucky with mine though, all I had to do was change the fluid and put in the additive.
