passanger door from inside not opening

so my passenger door won't open from the inside. i made sure the child lock on the door hinge is set to unlock. the door opens from the outside just fine. but from the inside it doesn't open. any help?

You'll need to take the door panel off to see if the linkage or cable is broken/disconnected.

yea i was affraid i'd have to do this. just too lazy.

I have the same problem with my rear drivers side. Here we go, then...

easy fix, take the plate off the child lock switch. spray WD40 in to the hole and work the switch up and down . Put the plate back on and the switch in unlock it should be fine

I tried the wd40 trick But with no luck

Take the plate off and put it in the unlock , see if that works with out the plate

wow it worked!

I took off plate. sprayed a bunch of wd40 in the hole. and switched it up and down. and the handle works from the inside.

I'm gonna have to try WD-40 myself. My left rear door won't open from the inside. That makes me feel like I'm driving a police car or something.

Ditto WD-40 thing - works like new, spring must get gunked up or something.
