Husky 31557 Quest Brake Controller with Connector : Amazon.com : Automotive

Here is my brake controller, I can not find much info on it. I can't get it set like it should. I have bought the connector that goes from the controller to the gray plug on the expedition, my expo has the factory tow package. When I hit the manual brakes it will work but when I am driving it does not light the numbers up like it did in the explorer, any reason why that is? I have it mounted right above the right knee under the dash... Any thoughts?

I know my expy has an electircal issue with feeding power to my electric brake unit. I had to re route power from the power socket to get mine to work. You could be having a power source issue but mine didnt ever light up when it was plugged in until i rewired it.

Is the fuse or relay installed under the hood?

I know on my F250 I had to install a relay under the hood.

Check the trailer tow fuse in the fuse box. it may not be there or blown.
