99 Eddie Bauer 175k miles. 5.4 4x4 4r100. Bought it with 160k miles and a severly knocking engine because previous owner neglected to put oil in it. Got a used 5.4 pi from a 99 f150 that had been totaled with 89k miles. so far ive replaced the plugs, subwoofer, and starter. I thought my new engine was using oil but i discovered the high pressure oil cooler line has a slow leak only when the engine is running. will fix that soon. just chopped off my stock muffler and put on a flowmaster super 44 series tonight, sounds amazing. i noticed there is 4 catalytic converters a resonator and a muffler?! wtf is it just me or does this seem like overkill and restrictive?

200K and seemingly in good shape, bought from a mechanic. Told me a lady left it with them after a spark plug blow out. Chipped, Custom Exhaust, KN intake...so forth. I have been enjoying learning about my new rig.

2000 EB 143k mi

rebuilt trans at 125k mi. driver window motor replaced, 1 year later the same one is jamming up. Rear differential was whining at 45 mph, now its a loud rumble its been almost a year since I noticed, guess its time to address it. air suspension replaced with coils.

No major engine issues on my 2005, but I did have to replace the tranny at 93k. . . .I am at 103k now and the engine and replacement tranny are going strong.

98 EB with 298,725 miles. Gonna take a picture of the odometer when it turns 300,000. No major problems to date. Just had a tune up and some minor repairs. I think I ought to change the oil more regularly. Gotta have the tranny fluids changed soon. The heater core failed a couple of years ago so I've been without heat but that's on my bucket list.

132k Miles, and biggest problem so far was a brake line, definitely not an major issue in my opinion.

be care with the heater core replacement my speedo went out and trans shifts hard still havent figured the problem


back to topic i have a 97 EB with 213,000 on it but probably 230-240,000 speedo still out

replaced started just because ,alternator,radiator ,thermostat,heatercore blend door,rear diff gasket, brakes bout it lol

due to bad manifold, 02 sensor which was cut by previous ownerprolly get 8-11 mpg

Bought it in April 2014 with 154k miles. Now has 163k miles.
Original engine & trans as far as I know. Seems to run well.
Gets about 15-16 mpg on the expressway (up/down hills). Nice, level road puts me at about 18ish IIRC..

My 1998 Ford expedition 5.4l Eddie Bauer 4x4 has 175,000 miles on it. This is the original engine and its still running strong.
