Potential Headlight or Grill replacement

Hi everyone!

I have a 2008 Exp EL KR that is black with lower gold trim and was considering either....

1. Replacing the chrome grill for a colormatch black grill.

2. Replacing the headlamps for Limited headlamps.

3. Doing a combination of both.

I like the way it looks as is but I feel it might stand out a lil more if I proceed with one of the changes.

With that said, does anyone have any pics of an expedition similar to mine that has done this change? I'd like to see some examples before I jump in and make the change.

Here is a picture of my current setup. The ones I have seen are of the limited expys that are all black. Mine would still have the gold bottom trim and was looking to see an example. Thanks for the link though

those will be subtle changes...not sure if it'll stand out...everyone's stand out it is diff though...it would look like what foradandpolaris posted...if u had the tan/brown KR...I think that would stand out more than any other color with a ptm grill...have you thought about billet...mesh...or different grille all together?

I agree. I was hoping you would just imagine the Limited Expy with tan trim haha. I agree with Freeway that it isn't going to be a subtle change, but chrome on anything but the rims is not attractive to me, so getting rid of it is always a good option in my book. But it isn't going to be super noticeable to anyone but yourself...

If you want to be different, ptm the grill with the gold from the bottom. Nobody does that.

Well, one of my far flug ideas was to get when available the whole front end clip (Bumper,grill,headlights,fogs) of a 2015 expedition seeing that the hood and fender lines match the current setup. Some mounting points may have changed but I can fab that up for fitment myself. Wife isn't sold on that yet lol.
