I have a 2010 Expedition with the towing package. I just bought a new camper trailer and the parking lights don't work. the brake/hazard lights work fine. (4 pin connector)

I thought I was clever so I plugged in the 7 pin to 4 pin connector and tried that. No luck there either.

The turn, brake, and parking lights on the truck are all working fine.

So... to determine if it is the trailer or the truck I got out the trusty multi-meter. The parking light pin (next to the ground pin) is dead on both the 4 and 7 pin trailer connectors on the truck. (ruling out the trailer as the problem)

What do I check next? Where is the other end of the trailer lighting connector?

Thanks i advance for any advice!

Never mind, I found it. I didn't realize that there was a separate fuse for the trailer parking lights. All fixed.

I didn't have any mini low-profile fuses so I used a regular mini fuse. The power block cover closes fine anyway. Is there any harm in leaving it this way, or should I buy some low profile fuses?
