I just got my new Edge Evo HT tuner and I'm having some problems that I'm hoping someone here has seen & resolved. The truck is an 07 and the EVO is brand new. I had quite a bit of trouble getting the software to connect to it on the computer, but I was finally able to successfully download the latest update to it. The real problem comes when I try to tune the truck. The Evo connects ok and starts downloading the stock tune, but once it hits about 89% it fails, showing Error #G-07 and tells me to call Edge customer support.
Anyone have problems like this with theirs that they care to share with me? I did call Edge today and they told me that they would need to pull the data from the tuner next time I connected it to my computer. Well I went through all the pain, again... of getting it connected and did finally see the message "special update in progress" so I figured it was pushing the data to them. 3 hours later it's still sitting there, so I dont know if it sent or not.
I have to say, I'm not getting a very good first impression of the Edge Tuner. I've used SCT software on my Tbirds, and Superchips Cortex on my Dodge trucks and never had any problems like this, especially right out of the box.... Did I make a huge mistake getting the Edge Evo HT?
