projector head light problem

hey all ,awesome site! ive searched on lots of threads and ive read a similar probs but i havent got a solution i have the same prob "big pacheco had " where the high beam indicator stays on and the high beam light wont work it seams the wired are crossed or something please if any body can give me some kind of inf i greatly appreciate

ok found the solution.i got impacient and just poked around with my test light and figuered it out that the wires on the headlight lamp is crossed all you have to do is swith it around

elalexwey do both lights come on at high beam.i thought about rewiring also.but you may have a problem come inspection time.i suppose you wired the outside lights for low beam and the inside lights for high beam.is that what you did?

yes both lights come on ! wel not any more ,the inside is the highbeam right?

i had a light bulb go out today.i found out that both bulbs(hi & lo) are the same.
elalexwey does the hi beam look brighter then the lo beam?just curious.
i'm going to talk with one of the electricians at work and see if they can build something so the lights can work properly with out the indicater light coming on at lo beam.

the easy way for me was to switch the 2 power wires in backof headlight and i also thought about buying 35watt bulbs (instead of 55) and using the inside lights as my regular headlights and buying 100 watt for the projector (outer)headlight,too much thinking:barf: So i just bought a completely different set, i like this look a lot more + i dont have too worry about a ticket :barf:
