Just recently purchased a preowned 1998 Eddie Bauer. When I first start the car the pump cycles for about 20 seconds. This occurs every time I start the car. Is this the norm? The pump will then cycle for a few seconds every hour +/-. Issue? suspension seems level without any sagging. Is there anything I should watch for?

Thanks for you help!!

There is a switch on the pass side floor board kick panel thingy. turn it off. Little bouncier, but the dying cow sound leaves.....

Link me to the monroe write up. Time for this lowrider to get elevated.... please?

Will riding with the system off be possible? I was told that the car shouldnot be driven like that...curious to hear your opinion. Thanks

I wouldn't do that for very long. Remember, you will be riding with no suspension and will be "bottomed out" all the time. When you go over a bump, the suspension will crash back every time. It is also not good on the joints. Plus, worst of all, it will have that "im a poor thug who is trying to lower his ride the cheap way" look. IMHO

Didn't drop mine. Just a fuzz bouncier. sits the same ride height, off or on. Off, bouncy. On, sounds like a dying cow. Every time one of us gets in or gets out, or the kids move around...

Off it is.

my friends stepdads would turn on randomly threw out the night. his was 2wd. then one day a bag popped and he got some stock springs from a junk yard and hasnt turned back yet. he says it was nice when they super loaded it but not a big deal. just turned the pump off and moved the lines.
