Quality of Dorman Exhaust Manifolds

Hi

4 years ago I replaced both exhaust manifolds on my 99 expedition.

Two shops have told me they are cracked and need to be replaced.

I'm kind of surprised since I thought they'd last longer.

Was I mistaken buying these manifolds and is there a better brand I should buy?

Or should I just get a pair of a wrecker?

I was lucky enough to be able to save my factory manifolds but I needed to have them trued up. I suspect what could be happening is you are breaking off some studs then the manifold is cracking. When I pulled my manifolds two studs where broken off and gone and other snapped the minute I put a wrench on it.
