Just got an 06 expedition and last night after getting home I realized that the high beams don't work at all and the dash does not show the indicator for the high beams. Also the hazard switch you have to play with to get them to work.

I have looked at fuse 35 in the fuse panel and it looks good so I don't know what else it could be so any suggestions would be helpful.

The 06 like the 05 has a low beam and a high beam light bulb. It's possible both high beam bulbs are burned out or the switch could be bad. Oh, also check to make sure that your fog lights aren't on (switch pulled out). Check the wiring harness connection near the base of the steering column which would be common to the hazard light switch (I think).

The fog lights being on won't affect the high beams turning on. They automatically turn off when the high beams are turned on.

Try and swap the fuse with another one rated for the same amperage. At least eliminate that as the issue before you go spending money on bulbs. Fuses can look good and still be bad.

Kind of sounds like a pinched wire like was mentioned. See if function improves when you tilt the wheel up and down.

that sure would explain why the high beams don't work You could try putting one of the other relays in its place just to test the high beams then try Napa advance auto or a parts store for a relay
Take relay #5 and put it in the relay #3 spot.
#5 is used when towing a trailer

Well thats odd. To be completely missing a relay.
Maybe someone was really pissed at their husband/wife for always driving with the high beams on? LOL

I wonder what the dealer soaked him for the relay and installing it
